These terms and conditions govern your use of the site and online uploads (“sessions”) and all other services from the site. If you have any questions, please contact me by emailing [email protected]

In these terms and conditions, "I", "me", "my", "ours" means Paul Blakeman (operating/trading as “Record To Tape”).

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the site. By accessing the site and/or booking a session, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions and you consent to me using your information in accordance with my privacy policy.

If you do not accept these terms, do not use the site.

By booking a session with Record to Tape you are agreeing to

upload your music to our secure servers
allow our engineers to download, listen & record to tape
return this music via secure services (currently wetransfer.com)
receive email receipts

Record To Tape will never share or play your music with/to any 3rd parties!

We are based in the United Kingdom and typically operate between the hours 10am - 6pm GMT - Monday to Friday ( currently Thursday, 11:00 pm )

Booking of sessions online is a guarantee of a place in our studio to record your music to tape. We typically endevour to fulfil your request and return your music within 3 "working days" (as described above)

As with any claim, there are exceptions and ours will be when we have significant numbers of sessions pre-booked. In such circumstances we will display this information on the homepage, session page and checkout page, notifying you of what our expected delay time could be.

We will then carry out at the work as instructed with all the due care and dilligence using our professional equipemnt and competent engineers.

Payment

We accept VISA, MasterCard, Switch and Maestro.

All our online payments are processed, off site, by https://stripe.com/gb (“Stripe”) making this website and card payment processing fully PCI DSS compliant. We store no information regarding your card. Any future features used on my website, allowing the saving of card details will be provided by Stripe and not by me.

By completeing the payment process you are giving full permission for Record To Tape to store, download and re-record any delivered music to our tape machines, subsequent digital copies to be made & returned using the above described delievery service.

Disclaimer and liability

I reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove without notice any information on the site from time to time. I will endeavour to ensure that all descriptions and illustrations on the site are accurate. Record To Tape work to keep the site up to date but cannot guarantee that this site and its contents are completely free of technical errors, viruses or anything else that may have a harmful effect on any technology. I will endeavour to allow uninterrupted access to the site but access may be suspended, restricted or terminated at any time. By using this site, you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for all costs associated with booking classes via the site. You must use the site for lawful purposes only. If we allow you to register with us you are fully responsible and liable for all access made to the site using any password or username that you register with us. You should keep such passwords and usernames confidential at all times. If you are not satisfied with the site, then please email me with your comments.

These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

Legal governance

Your use of this site shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions. If I fail to enforce a right under these terms and conditions, that failure will not prevent me from enforcing other rights, or the same type of right on a later occasion.

Unless otherwise stated in these terms and conditions, no part of these terms and conditions are enforceable by anyone who is not a party to them, pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

Copyright and other rights

All materials, including images, illustrations, designs, site layout, photographs, written and other text or script that are part of this site together with all software compilations, underlying source code and software in the site are protected by copyright, trade mark, design right, and/or other worldwide intellectual property rights and are owned or controlled by or licensed to Paul Blakeman. All rights are reserved.

The contents of the site and the site as a whole are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may download or make a single copy of the contents and other downloadable materials displayed on the site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Record To Tape or using the site as a shopping resource. No right, title or interest in any downloaded materials or software is transferred to you as a result of any such downloading or copying. You may not reproduce (except as noted above), publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or participate in any sale of, or exploit in any way, in whole or in part, any of the contents, the site, or any related software without our express prior written permission.
